Web-Hosted Assessment Manager (WHAM/WEBCASS) serves several functions. In its simplest form, the program provides a real-time web-based "cradle to grave" compliance management, tracking and reporting tool. Under this use, information (Findings) gathered from Assessment Manager (WINCASS) is uploaded to the WHAM/WEBCASS application.

A more sophisticated use of WHAM/WEBCASS is where the application is used as a management WEB Portal. Under this use, existing functionality modules are incorporated for data sharing. Where a new specific functionality (business process) program is warranted, additional specialty modules can be developed and incorporated into the WHAM/WEBCASS management portal. Existing modules include DCMS, STEP, UBANGS, Mobile Checklist, Mobile ICAP. Their functionality is included via the application links noted below.
