Mobile ICAP
Mobile Installation Corrective Action Plan
Government Customers: US Army, National Guard, US Army Reserves, NOAA, US Coast Guard, FBI, CDC
The Army National Guard Environmental Program Divisions is proud to implement the first-ever mobile Installation Corrective Action Plan (ICAP) application in the Department of Defense. The ICAP is a web-based tool, developed by Plateau Software, used by installations to plan and track corrective actions for internal and external findings. It is maintained by the Environmental Office and it is used to select corrective actions, enter progress notes, and change the status of findings. The Mobile ICAP application provides installations a way to take findings with them into the field for verification and updating. Those findings can then be uploaded into their ICAP on WEBCASS. This manual addresses how to use the Mobile ICAP application. For the Mobile ICAP to work, installations must have either a Tablet PC with Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2 tablet edition or a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) device with Microsoft Pocket PC Operating System.
Mobile ICAP allows external contractors and internal facility users to review the findings and update the corrective action plans. The Mobile ICAP application is a mobile handheld or tablet based application that can be used to download findings and update corrective action plan, status, add notes and upload the field observations and findings into the WEBCASS platform.
