East Coast Expansion
Plateau Software expands its U.S. operations by expanding its Fairfax, Virginia operations center. According to Brad Kleinfelder, Plateau's CEO, "as the most widely used Environmental Audit, Compliance and Risk Management Solution currently implemented in the Federal Government, expansion of our Washington, D.C. Beltway operations means that we are able to better support our many Federal customers at the headquarters level. We see this as a strategic advantage given the broad acceptance and on-going deployment of our solutions in the Federal, State and Local government markets."
Partner Program
Because of the popularity of its Environmental Audit, Compliance and Risk Management Solutions, Plateau Software today announced its Partner Program, a program designed to help both large and small Environment Health and Safety consulting organizations expand their solutions offerings to their clients, while generating additional revenues for the Partners through implementation, consulting and training services. US Army Reserve Command, WINCASS-RC Modifications
Plateau Software was awarded a modification and customization contract to update the WINCASS-RC application to better fit with current business practices. The Army Reserve Command initially deployed WINCASS-RC in 2001.
US Army Reserve Command, UBANGS Deployment
Army Reserve Command selected Plateau Software to provide modifications and customizations to the Web-UBANGS (User Based Army National Guard System) application. This program was initially designed and developed for the US Army National Guard by Plateau Software. UBANGS supports the DRMO (Defense Reutilization and Marketing Office) “turn in” processes for disposal or reutilization of hazardous and non-hazardous wastes. According to Brad Kleinfelder, Plateau Software's CEO, "the web U-BANGS application, designed and developed by Plateau Software for the Army National Guard, has also generated strong interest by other Federal Agencies. Given web U-BANGS' unique functionality and lack of standardization within the DoD, we anticipate that we will be working with other agencies with similar needs."
US Army Environmental Command, STEP Deployment
Active Army (AEC) contracts with Plateau Software for customization of the (STEP) "Status Tool for the Environmental Program" prior to release nation-wide. STEP is a web-based environmental project and budget management application initially designed and developed for the US Army National Guard by Plateau Software. STEP allows the client to monitor and track the progress of environmental projects. STEP is also designed to function as a module under the WEBCASS/WHAM management portal application.
GSA Schedule
To add contracting flexibility for Federal and State clients, Plateau Software has negotiated with GSA to obtain a GSA schedule contract. This new contract vehicle is in addition to Plateau's existing SEWP III, NIH, and DoD Indefinite Deliver Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicles.
US Coast Guard
The U.S. Coast Guard has deployed a version of Plateau Software's (DCMS) Data Call Management System software. This program enables the Coast Guard to request emergency response contractors (from across the country) to submit their capabilities to a central database. Once the data is compiled in DCMS, when an emergency arises, the Coast Guard can poll the database to immediately identify the appropriate responders in the immediate vicinity of the incident.
